It's Electric

Big Brian taking the skidsteer for a spin...I think he had a good time while Meghan and I slaved away painting!

I got to run the blue wires for speakers in the house while Beau did all the important stuff and Bruce the uncle guy checked to make sure he was doing right! Thanks for the help!

THis is Plumber Dave holding Beau on the roof while Beau puts a vent on the upstairs bathroom...scaling the roof.

The side of the house that I finally finished painting.

We also finally got garage doors! and they match the house perfectly - the garage door man did a fantastic job recommending them! All in all right now the house is completely painted - the plumbing has had the pressure test done (and passed - Thanks Dave) and the electric is SO close to done! Should be able to start insulation next week and then onto what I hear is the really fun part - drywall and mud/taping!

So I guess when you get a septic system you need a drainfield too. City girl learning all these new, fancy terms ;) Anyway - I think what your looking at is all the gravel that had to be put down to cover the pipes to and in the drainfield. The last picture is the house with all the electrical line heading into the house. That made it in Tuesday night and I guess there are outlets and all that jazz as of last night! Electrician Beau has been hard at work the last few nights...beating out the heat with the big fan he tells me.

Just when you thought

I sincerely thought we were done digging big holes and trenches...but Bruce the digger guy came back and dug a HUGE trench from the house, around the well and to the shed. I think it was the hottest day ever recorded on earth this day - but they were out there and Beau was jumping in and out of the trench like a deer. What did the guys want to eat? McDonalds. Nothing like hot greasy food on a super hot day. ug. Anyway - the pictures are of the front of the house with the trench for the water and electric lines off to the right. The second picture is the lines going into (or I guess near at this point) the woodstove. Third is Beau and Brian's work of art
They accomplished all of that in ONE DAY! Thanks Brian and Jamie for coming to help out-truely appreciated again!
